The location of the cabins was ideal, close to hiking trails and fishing spots. The cabins themselves had clean bathrooms and a cozy wood-burning stove. The lack of electronics provided a distraction-free environment, and the large firepit was perfect for gatherings.
The lack of blinds or thicker curtains in the bedrooms allowed the early morning sun to flood in, disrupting sleep.

Our stay at The Cabins At Historic Columbine was absolutely perfect! The cabins were cozy and had all the necessary amenities. We especially loved the wood burning stove and the clean bathrooms. Being close to hiking trails and fishing spots was a dream come true for us nature lovers. The location itself was peaceful and provided a much-needed escape from the city. We enjoyed the evenings around the large firepit, sharing stories and having quality time together.
The only minor inconvenience was the lack of blinds or thicker curtains in the bedrooms, which caused the sun to wake us up early in the morning. Additionally, it would have been great if the General Store had allowed for orders to be taken, even when closed, so that we could easily get odds and ends.
